Meet Shanelle Best
MSW, LCSW, EAS-C
Shanelle Best graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Indiana University. She furthered her career by becoming clinically licensed in the state of Georgia. She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Shanelle specializes in helping struggling couples and individuals dealing with infertility, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Her fifteen years of personal experience with reproductive mental health and infertility has equipped her with the ability to provide compassionate, empathetic, kind, and collaborative therapy. Because of this, she can assist couples and individuals with navigation through life’s unpredictable challenges.
Shanelle’s goal is to help clients feel safe, supported, heard, and understood. She enjoys working alongside her clients as they develop insight into their experiences. This insight often leads to a feeling of empowerment to implement changes in life. Shanelle’s belief that the therapeutic process of change includes the following: an understanding of feelings and behaviors, developing healthy coping skills, feeling connected to others, and maintaining balance and moderation in life.
